الصيغة المنتظمة
(regular verbs)
💡✨ تكون بإضافة ed إلى نهاية الفعل فيصبح الفعل ماضي .
Past tense endings:

لقد أمطرت بالأمس .

الصيغة الشاذه

هو أجرى الكثير من المكالمات الهاتفية .

we have three form to write it :
⚫The negative ( المنفي)
ننفي زمن الماضي البسيط باستخدام: ( didn’t ) أو ( did not ) + المصدر

🔹I didn't go to school yesterday.
🔸They didn’t play football .
⚫Affirmative (المثبت) :

🔹 I went to jeddah last weekend.
ذهبت إلى جده في عطلة نهاية الأسبوع الماضية.
🔸Yasterday, I bought new jaket.
بالأمس ، اشتريت معطفاً .
🔹I woke up late in the morning.
أستيقظت متأخراً في الصباح.
🔸She arrived to her home at 6:00 P.M .
هي وصلت منزلها عند الساعة السادسة مساء.
⚫Interrogative (الاستفهام ) :
نستخدم عند الاستفهام في صيغة الماضي البسيط
كلمة (Did) + الفاعل + الصيغة المصدرية من الفعل

🔹Did you go out a lote last week?
🔻Yes, I did.I went to a restaurant and gym.
🔺No,I didn’t go out a lote.

1- The verb ending *e* is added *d* only, for example :
🔺live → lived
🔸die → died
🔻promise → promised
2- The verb ending *y* is converted to *i* then added *ed* ,For example :
🔺carry → carried
🔸study → studied
🔻marry → married
